With the Enginseer being peeled off him by his companion, Crona was able to take the opportunity to get back onto his feet. It was more of a slow crawl as he managed to pick himself up and dust himself off from the ground, though instead of attacking immediately he takes the opportunity to check his wounds with a free hand, seemingly unworried by the vicious brawl going on in front of him. His wound from Sivo's original attack was still bleeding, though what was new was that he had a new burning sensation on the other side of his ribs, and a tentative touch on his face made him flinch from the trauma, but unfortunately, there was not enough blood that he could use to his advantage, only a pair of savage impact marks on his cheek and nose from his adversaries' fist. A blunt attack may not be as effective as a slashing one, but it seemed to also deny Crona using more of this advantage. The child sighed, he was clearly badly beaten up with a useless trickle of black blood seeping from his nose and the side of his mouth, but he was notably more unhappy and disappointed by the discovery.
"Maybe I'd be able to appreciate them more if you weren't trying to kill me, you know?" He suggests quietly, looking away slightly as Jon falls away from Sivo. It seemed like a perfect time to strike, now that Jon couldn't be hit by any crossfire, and it would hopefully stop Sivo from turning his attention to the Lord Commander. Crona was fairly sure that his ally was not quite as durable as he was, and with that thought in mind, he raises the end of his blade at the Enginseer once again. "But...I think you missed the opportunity to use words."
Crona stood still, closing his eyes for only a moment, and almost immediately his blade began to warp and change shape, starting with a dull shine and ending with a bright purple glow as he focused his power into it. The blade grew longer and wider before everyone's very eyes as the child seemed to pour more strength into the weapon, though as suddenly as it started, it abruptly ended, and the boy was left holding what looked like a particularly formidable glowing blade. "Ready, Crona." A disembodied voice echos from the sword, which was enough motivation Crona to take the step forward to get in melee range and begin his swings at the Enginseer.
The boy attacks with incredible speed, but the first flailing strikes were all but negated by the Techpriest's strange forcefield, five sword swings in the blink of an eye were all pushed aside from Sivo's torso, at best only managing to scratch the plating of an arm or leg. He was not about to be deterred however, and his determination was finally rewarded as he hears a few of his wild swings finally clank heavily against Sivo's side and shoulder, but still not much damage. The child lets out a wailing cry as he finishes the last part of his attack, determined to do some damage, as the final five swings finally slash across Sivo's torso, tearing its robes to ribbons and leaving a set of lacerations on its chest and shoulder armor.
"Waah! No no! No no no no no! Stop it!" Crona screeches as he finishes his attack, stumbling back slightly from the overwhelming momentum, though only barely managing to stay on his feet. Once he had regained his balance, the boy wipes away the trickle of black blood slowly moving down his face before turning to his enemy again, though there was something noticeably different about the child now, as though his demeanor had shifted again. His eyes were wide and erratic, and his mouth was stretched into an almost unnatural grin which was unable to hide the sound of a disturbing laughter. "Heh. Ha ha! Why..." the boy began, though the blood on his sleeve distracted him, and he cant help but stare entranced at it for a moment before speaking again. "Blood. Black Blood. My blood is black, you know. You have black blood too. We should have been friends. Ha! Friends, friends, friends. Friends are hard, I think I'd prefer bodies. Dead people are easier to get along with. Look at me, Sivo. I'm going to eat your soul." The boy lets off a soft chuckle before bringing his blade up in a guard, preparing for another attack, though it wasn't his plan to take another energy charge from Sivo, his plan was to distract long enough for Jon to get back on his feet.
Of course, Sivo didn't need to know that.
