Tarrasqing a Question
#12
Atelos noted as the foolish monk ran off by himself, taking pride in his stride as he began to run off. Kuzan nodded and followed quickly behind the monk and motioned for Atelos to follow along. Atelos walked behind the Ice Mage and he saw the two talking and laughing. He felt Hades in his mind grumble and he seemed to take a quick nap. The pulsating in his head faded and he felt much more relaxed, for the time being at least.

The Monk looked around and couldn’t find something he was looking for and confusion flew across his face. “Have either of you seen Alain?” His sentence was answered by the white horse disappearing into a forest with the assumed “Alain” on top of the horse. “Not so much as a Good-Bye?” His face seemed to fall into disappointment as Kuzan and Atelos both shrugged. He continued along the dirt path wondering why the other man had left him.

“Not much of a team are they.” Atelos muttered underneath his breath. Aang appeared not to have heard the Spartan speak, however Kuzan shot him a weird look. Apparently the man still did not trust Atelos. He stayed closer to the Monk and shot concerned glances out of the corner of his eye. Atelos couldn’t help but feel insulted at the man’s doubt of the Spartan. Who doesn’t trust random strangers?!

Why should I help them if they cannot trust me? How dare they try and abuse my hard work!? Those fools think they can abuse me and MY POWER!” These people were busy talking and they had only brought him so he could talk to the Darkshire. They were using him! His face darkened and he felt the overwhelming presence of Hades return to light. He was not happy either about the situation that the Spartan had let happen. He was ready to turn on them then and there, however Atelos was more...considerate of others. He had given them time to prove to him that they were not using him, but if they were...They would have one angry Spartan on their hands.

Time flew by and Atelos broke the two’s conversation with his enormous presence. “Why had you decided to bring me along?”
