Daemon and the Devout

[Mako]

Mako stood in front of the two people who Zero thought as enemies. She looked stubbornly at Zero who had extended his hand toward Mako. She was curious as to what he was going to do. However she saw a emerald glow come from him and she immediately decided to move out the way, moving to the side quickly.

Luckily she had managed to dodge the blast that ravaged the ground where the cloaked man stood and the girl. Mako had to decided, did she want to stay beside Zero and the others or get some distance? Within a few seconds Mako had her answers and immediately backed off from the fighting, getting quite some distance away from them. She could hear the sounds of fighting behind her.

Mako turned around to only see the girl going towards Zero. Mako was about to comment on the girl staying away however she moved her eyes to the blade. How could a scrawny girl wield such a huge blade? Mako was staring at the blade curiously trying to figure out how could the girl wield it? Her concentration was broke whenever the blade let out a curdling scream. This caused Mako to flinch and cover her ears. Why was this loud scream coming from the fight? She didn't she anybody who were opening their mouth to look like they were screaming. Could it be Zero was screaming underneath his armor?

What Mako saw surprised her, it was a beam! It had a weird shape however it was a beam! Maybe Mako could use beams? After all this was the Milkman's playground. She had to remind herself later to try to use a beam! She could imagine it now....maybe she could use 'that' move? The very idea of being able to shoot out beams excited Mako. Her eyes shined and practically turned to stars.
