Tony pretended to nod and understand, even though Jak's presumption of Dante knowing much about his past was blatantly false. The guy only ever spoke about history in hushed tones and cryptic explanations. The devil hunter could not remember a time where the Eco warrior had ever truly opened up and explained everything in a coherent sense. It would be understandable if Jak was ashamed about what he did and didn't want to share it, but the experience made Dante just want to grab a hold of the knife-eared guy and shake the full story out of him.
Why don't you get rid of him while you're at it? You don't need someone that unstable bogging you down-
The plagued son of Sparda immediately diverted his thoughts, throwing polite attention out the window and focusing on what he came here to do. Omnilium began to coalesce between his fingers again in that familiar summoning process. By the time the aquamarine alien stepped off her perch and agreed to a team formation, Tony's ensuing glob of chromatic matter began to take a shape.
Jak noticed this, and relented from saying anything for the moment, lest he interrupt his friend's work. After a couple more minutes of observation, the item took shape, and the Eco warrior beheld it with a certain awe. It could only be a rocket launcher, the huge tube of the weapon concealing a payload of something powerful. There was a certain nostalgia that Mar found from the sight of the heavy explosive taking form, and he found himself wanting for a similar device he had grown oddly fond of...
"Sorry about that," Tony opened his eyes and apologized, just to be sure. He patted the sleek gunmetal of the launcher, fingers trailing over the inscription that christened the weapon as Kalina Ann. Dante normally would not borrow a signature tool like this without permission, but Tony figured that an exception could be made if he just created one of his own. "I wanted to get this cranked out before the show an all."
"No, no, it's fine," the Eco warrior dismissed his friend's concerns, inspiration gleaming in his eyes. The devil hunter couldn't help but smirk for the tiniest moment, noting he had hit a positive chord with the Dynamite Kid.
Setting the boom tube to lean on the armchair, Tony immersed himself in the waking world again. "So what's the deal? We're all buddies, now?" He asked with his tell-tale smoothness, an inoffensive casual tone, "We'd better pass names around before we go any further. I'm Tony Redgrave." The red-coat held two fingers to his temple and then flicked outward, in what could only be an off-brand salute.
