Another round, another climatic Furby explosion.

In the haze, Erik Vrell collected himself.  The ship was gone, but he wasn’t missing any body parts.

“Deadpool?”  He whispered in the void of space as he looked around for his partner.  Instead, he found himself confronted by a mangled Ricter, who lifted his fists.

“Let’s do this.”  The furry warrior muttered.

“Yield,” Erik muttered at the pitiful display.  “You can’t fight anymore.”

Ricter, for his part, nodded his head as he dropped his hands.  A beat later, a twisted piece of steel tore through the weasel’s chest, splattering Erik in the chest in face.

“How do you do it?”  Deadpool chuckled as he discarded the dead warrior and smacked a palm onto Erik’s shoulders.  “I thought the other guy was the trap, but you are just so good at this, fella.”

Deadpool paused before glancing in what had to be the direction of hidden cameras.

“We’ll have to bleep that in post-production!”

Next, the mercenary glanced right up into the sky and scowled behind his mask.  I’m on to your bullshit.
