"This isn't what it looks like. You see...this," I said holding up the scythe "is a tool for... detecting treasure? Ugh I don't know I'm tired." I slowly walked towards them. I spun my scythe around and hit nitori with the blunt end of my scythe just a lot harder than I meant to. The blow sent her flying. "In my defense I have not hit anyone in a long time and she was aiming a gun at me. She shouldn't be dead, just unconscious." I got to my knees and slid my weapon and my grimoire towards the other girl. "I don't want any more trouble. Especially with whatever those things are." I said pointing at the floating orbs. "The scythe has no magic imbued into it and the book is just a grimoire. It'll tell you I have no ill intent."
