Saroth grew up In a broken household in a world slightly similar to earth. In his world mythical creatures exist and are integrated into society. Saroth is the bastard child of an Elf dignitary. His birth was swept under the rug and his mother was given hush money. Saroth's mother was a whore. She sold her body and brought many abusive men into the house. Saroth had many half brothers and sisters around the country but he was the only one she kept because of the potential blackmail. Hid mother was abused by many men and so was Saroth. Eventually he received a beating so bad it left him forever crippled. Around the age of 16 Saroth had enough. He went to the black market and equipped himself with weapons and a grimoire. The grimoire imbued him with shadow magic. He hunted every last on of his mother's abusers down and killed them. The news dubbed him the bloodhound because how the killer's determination and how he leaves copious amounts of blood. His mother begged him to stop as he was about to kill her current lover and in his rage he killed her. He fell to his knees ashamed by what he had done. Then he seemingly disappeared. Everyone just assumed he was killed by the cartel or ran away from his life.
