Quote:The most common use of Omnilium is summoning, but it can be used in other ways. Slow, constant application can heal even the most grievous wounds, though it is incredibly time-consuming and can take almost an entire day of rest to restore lost limbs, for example. In the case of Primes, this effect is passive and activated simply by holding any amount of omnilium, but they can produce the same effect on a secondary by remaining still and focusing, exactly like summoning.
If your character doesn't have hours and you want a quick fix in the middle of combat without regen, I guess you could try and fish out the bullet (if it's inside you), and maybe cauterise it or something to prevent blood loss - depending on what you have at your disposal (obviously, if you have nothing hot available, you can't cauterise anything). Or try and tear off some clothing and cover the wound and put pressure on it. The general stuff you see in movies (and I'm sure there's plenty of medical problems with what I said because I know little about bullet wounds outside of the obvious). But none of that would "heal" anything.
Alternatively, you could get healing items, if you're about to do a fight and you think it might grant you an edge. For personal storylines and whatnot (i.e. your own adventure, stuff that isn't "competitive"), you can just fudge healing items into your story (like getting given a fancy healing leaf from a random forest village for you to use, or finding some herbs, or just going to a hospital, whatever fits both your character and the setting). But in an actual fight with another player character (or major NPC you're not writing yourself), you would need to have spent OM beforehand to buy and summon something for you to use. Such as:

Quote:Medi-Gel – 50 OM
An all-purpose medicinal salve combining an anaesthetic and clotting agent, able to instantly seal injuries against infection and induce rapid healing in injuries. Usually stored in purpose-made canisters that can hold several uses. Restores 1 point of damage. However, it cannot heal Serious or Major injuries like shattered bones and severed limbs. See Fighting and Competition Rules for more information on damage and injuries.
