Gem over the Omniverse
#2
Fifteen minutes would pass as Aquamarine began to wait for the elevator to take her down to Tier 3, the Ruby she had created getting lost in the crowd while Aquamarine had known directly where she was going. As the short Gem woman continued to wait in the elevator, she took out her wand from her hair once again, before continuing to work on it so that she could fix all of it's features. Eventually, as the elevator was finished lowering down to Tier 3, Aquamarine quickly got off, her wand fixed in almost every department, though she guessed she would still have some problems in keeping others down with her Tractor Beam Wand if it came to such a thing.

Looking around for what could possibly be Dr. Gero's lab, Aquamarine was somewhat confused since she could barely see any major group of Stormtroopers around, since she was used to seeing the officers in groups up on Tiers 1 and 2, though as she continued to look around, she guessed that security could have been more lax on this Tier due to the first two tiers already being heavily protected. Continuing to walk around, Aquamarine wondered what the tiers below would also have to offer in terms of protection, since she hoped that the lower tiers would be somewhat safe should she ever be ordered to go down there.

Eventually, after about half a hour of searching around the tier, Aquamarine was able to find Dr. Gero's spare office building, which had happened to be right next door to one of the more expensive hospitals on the Tier. Taking out the key that had been given to her, Aquamarine twisted open the door, trying to be careful in opening the door as she carefully said "Hey, is there anyone in here? I need to grab some documents for Dr. Gero on the first Tier, so if anyone is here to help me in finding said documents, that would actually be somewhat helpful for both me and him."

Unfortunately for the Gem woman, as Aquamarine waited for a response, she could hear no reply coming from within the building, meaning that it was most likely still empty. Sighing in annoyance, Aquamarine carefully walked into the building, hoping that the doctor did not build some sort of additional defense system that would cause her to have some problems in the long run. As she continued on through the building however, Aquamarine had ended up not seeing any defense systems in the office, asides from a few security cameras fitted with dart guns, which seemed to ignore the Gem woman when she passed by them.

After a bit of searching, Aquamarine could eventually find the documents that Dr. Gero had asked her to get, but as she looked at the documents, they seemed to be in some encrypted language which she could not understand. "Hmm... I can't really decipher what this all means, but I guess this weird language is probably a smart move for Gero to use, considering nobody would be experienced enough to translate this in the criminal parts of this Empire. Kind of makes me wish I could develop my own hidden language, if only to use for my own personal protection."

Taking the documents and neatly tucking them in a small backpack, Aquamarine slowly headed out of the building, before locking the door to Gero's lab once again, making sure to keep every lock tight by the time she put the key into her bag along with the documents. As she began to walk toward the elevator to Tier 1 however, Aquamarine's face had ended up being covered by a stray poster for Dante's Abyss, having blown away from it's original location days since the big event had begun. Trying to take the poster off of her face, Aquamarine tried putting the poster into her bag, but as she checked, she noticed that the key was gone.

"Oh crap, this is not good..." Quickly looking around to figure out what could have happened to the key, Aquamarine had turned around to see the key on the floor, a mysterious string having been attached to it. Not wanting to waste time on what she assumed to be a malicious prank, Aquamarine pulled out her wand from her hair, using it to pull the key to her while snapping the string by using her hand. As she did this, the Gem woman could see what appeared to be some sort of golem creature stamping his foot down in disappointment, which she thought was probably the one who had caused her delayment.

Deciding to just let the golem creature off the hook for now due to the urgency of the documents, Aquamarine simply just walked her way to the elevator so she could return to Tier 1, and as she did the short girl had kept her bag closer to herself just in case. Eventually, as Aquamarine had finally reached the end of the elevator's ride up to Tier 1, she took her time to make sure she still had everything she had needed to return, smiling a bit once she could confirm that she still had the documents at hand. Wasting no time on greeting the other people in the Tier, Aquamarine quickly walked on her way to the Security Headquarters.

As she entered the security headquarters, bowing to the Stormtroopers guarding the building as she did so, Aquamarine remembered the path that she had originally taken, before returning to the pyramid room, where she could see the ladybug robot flying in the center, with a platform holding some sort of platform attached to the bottom of the robot. Quickly putting the documents on the platform, as well as the key to Gero's spare building, Aquamarine said to the robot "There, the documents as requested, as well as the key you had let me use. Sorry for the bit of a delay, it is just that there was a bit of a traffic problem on Tier 3."

Regardless of whatever she had said, the ladybug simply flew away, ignoring the Gem woman as it flew through a small opening on the top of the door arch to the next room. As Aquamarine continued to wait for what was going on, the ladybug eventually flew out again, this time having what appeared to be two mechanical arms rather than a platform. Using these mechanical arms, the ladybug slowly picked up Aquamarine by the waist, flustering the Gem woman as she was carried into the room that Dr. Gero seemed to be in...
