The eco warrior stepped up from the toilet area, his eyes now aglow with light blue as he knew what he must now do.

Daxter looked up at his buddy, and noticed the tinge of blue in Jak’s eyes.

“Hey Jak, what’s with the bluish eyes, the Nobel Hero got you going right now?”

Jak smiled a bit and nodded “Dax, don’t worry. I need to protect Ash, I can’t let her get hurt like that again.”

Daxter crossed his arms and frowned “What? You failed Ash?” Wait, oh yeah. Protect our Ash, she protected you last time, do the same.”

Jak avoided looking at Daxter, a bit sad that he brought up their loss against the first opponents.

The ottsel tried to put a smile on Jak’s face “Come on, Jak.. That green being with the funky tail is too weird for our tastes…

And that furry is just like me, he’s harmless.”

The eco warrior tried to force a smile, after trying to feel better “Thanks Dax, but I have a job to do.”

Daxter groaned “Hey Light, air and peaceful, we can’t have you walking out there with blue eyes lit up like that.”

The wastelander sighed and shrugged “Come on Dax, we gotta find Ash. The quicker, the better.”

The men’s bathroom door opened and out strolled a confident Jak and Daxter watching a man from a distance interview Ash.

The ottsel suppressed his urge to run out and hop in the limelight but the translucent like eyed eco warrior walked closer to the hallways, finding the Storm demon staring at her holodeck.

Daxter hopped down “What are you studying, Ash?”

Jak looked down as he blinked, translucent eyes still glowing “I’m willing to protect you this time.”

As almost the Nobel Hero was talking through Jak’s body.
