NPC Name: Sir Neville of Longbottom

Character history:

Neville Longbottom was a wizard in a secret society of magic users in Britain. Neville began school at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991 and was sorted into Gryffindor House. Neville became an important member of Dumbledore's Army, an organisation taught and led by Harry Potter with the goal of helping other students learn spells to attack and defend themselves. Neville would later fight in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996), the Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997), and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998). During the Battle of Hogwarts, having refused Voldemort's invitation to join the Death Eaters, he destroyed the seventh and final Horcrux when he beheaded the snake Nagini. He also co-led Dumbledore’s during his final year in opposition to the Death Eater professors.

Omni took Neville to the Omniverse at the exact moment Neville saw Voldemort get destroyed.

Like many Hogwart’s alumni that find themselves in the Omniverse, Neville first went to Camelot to find tutelage under Albus Dumbledore. After an argument of some kind with Dumbledore, Neville left Dumbledore’s tutelage, but did not leave Camelot. He became a Knight of the Kingdom, forming a band of fighting men (and women, and elves, and dwarves, and even a gnome or two) to travel Camelot enforcing the rule of King Aragorn.

Sir Neville of Longbottom has a reputation for honesty, bravery, and strong moral character. He does not go to Minis Tirith often, but instead prowls the outlands with his band of warriors. He is a renowned orc slayer, ogre slayer, troll slayer, and even a giant slayer.

Why does this character have to be a prime? Because his backstory requires it, as well as to help his role in harry’s story, and because Neville deserves it.

Sword of Gryffindor (300) requires Physical Strength


The Sword of Gryffindor was a thousand-year-old, goblin-made sword owned by the famed wizard Godric Gryffindor, one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The sword is wielded one-handed, in Neville’s right and primary hand. It is very thin and short with a blade length of 26 inches, but made of Goblin silver so it is magically sharp.

Fashioned from Goblin silver, it is inset with rubies, the stone that represents Gryffindor in the hour-glasses that count the house points at Hogwarts. Godric Gryffindor's name is engraved just beneath the hilt.

It is said that the sword may present itself to any worthy Grffindor.

Neville’s wand is 13 inches, made of Cherry, with a Unicorn Hair core. In combat, Neville wields his wand in his left hand, and needs it for many of his moves. It takes him two seconds to draw his wand.

Stunning Hex (300) Requires Ranged Proficiency

This spell requires that Neville aim his wand, usually held in his left hand, and perform the incantation 'Stupefy', a process which takes three seconds, after which a bullet-sized projectile of red light shoots from the tip of his wand towards where he aims. It moves at about the speed of an arrow. If the projectile hits its intended target, the target is hit with a kind of magical blunt-force-trauma that doesn't leave any recognizable marks but does cause damage. This spell can be cast three times in a ten second period. It has a range of about 100 feet.

Targets of the spell may develop bruises or even broken bones from this spell, much as they would if they were hit by a stone thrown from a sling.

(Sheild Charm) (300) Requirements- Physical proficiency
Neville’s primary means of active defense. Neville knows this spell so well that he uses it non-verbally and instinctually; it takes him less than a second to activate it, though he must be holding his wand. Neville creates an invisible shield of magical force about two feet in diameter directly in front of the wand. This shield is roughly the shape of a half sphere. This invisible shield stops or slows any force from its front side. He can maintain this shield for 1 second at a time, and can use it an unlimited number of times per day. This spell is not very draining, but becomes more draining if Neville casts it many times in a short period, or if protecting against strong attacks. This shield might not be strong enough to deflect all attacks. Neville’s DEF is 2; this spell negates up to 2 points of attack. So, a character with 4 attack who shoots a gun at the shield would do damage to Neville as though they had 2 ATK.

Incendio (300) Requirements- Ranged Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency

Neville aims his wand, shouts the incantation Incendio, and shoots a gout of flame from  his wand in a cylinder about a foot in diameter directly in front of the wand. Neville can maintain this flame for up to five rounds. He can move while he channels this spell, but only slowly, and keeping his concentration on the spell. This spell is very draining, and while neville is channeling it, he cannot use his Sword of Gryffindor as the spell requires his focus This spells has a range of 40 feet. It moves about as fast a flamethrower and is very damaging. It takes Neville two seconds to perform this spell.

Flaming Strike (600) - Tier-1 Offensive Supermove - requires Physical Strength

Neville uses the incantation ‘Incendio’, and the meelee weapon he is currently holding becomes wreathed in magical flames. This takes two seconds. The next strike Neville makes with his weapon, hit or miss, will trigger the spell. If he hits his target, the target is affected with searing magical fire along with the physical force of the weapon. Because the fire is magical, it goes out very quickly. If Neville misses, the spell is still discharged harmlessly.

This spell is very draining to Neville, and cost 1 SP.
