I've added the following clarifying statement to the OOC Rules of Conduct that I hope will make it clear what the chatbox should and should not be used for.
It is also worth pointing out that this statement has been in that thread for years.
I'm telling my staff to go zero tolerance policy on sex-related chat in the chatbox moving forward. We have a Discord, you can use that platform to talk more adult stuff or even use the IC chat rooms to bang IC or wax romantic with other players.
Rape, sexual assault, and anything related to that, remains -- as it always has -- zero tolerance on ANY Omniverse platform. I'm a high school teacher, and I have to delete various distasteful memes from my Google Classroom all the time. I had a class of 24 boys and 4 girls that was 100% dick, cock, ass, gay, and rape jokes for much of the year that I had to frequently deal with to the point where I just started having to have really awkward parent-teacher conference on the topic of "Your son likes to tell his friends that he's going to rape-fuck their mouths" in my class.
So let's just stop. I don't mind or care what you do on your private discords, but it's the staff and my responsibility to control what goes on here, on official platforms. You'll be temporarily banned if you violate these rules. This counts as your warning post.
If you have any complaints, questions, or concerns, take them to me.
