Nyeseth flash stepped to the other side of Mao which surprised him as he got in a good hit, using his greater speed to his advantage. But his hit hadn't the impact that he had expect as Mao swung around with his sword and Nyes barely blocked it. The two started to exchange sword blows. It was clear that Nyes was the faster of the two, but while Mao didn't move as quickly he managed to predict and block his blows.
"Your are strong but it is Irrelevant! I'll show you the true power of a Demon!" With a powerful block and counter throwing off Nyeseth, Mao took an opening and slashed with his sword but missing on purpose. He started up some wing magic and caught Nyeseth up in it. He to move rapidly in a circle around Nyes and created a wind tornado on top of him. The Tornado carried them both into the air 20 feet before Mao manipulated his magic to put him right above Nyes. He slashed hard, and while Nyeseth blocked the blow with his sword Mao's burst of strength threw him through the tornado, forcing it apart and throwing him into the ground. Nyeseth gasped in pain as he struck the ground hard on his back. "Now Die!" Before the Soul Reaper could recover, Mao concentrated green energy on his hand and fell to the ground on top of him. He held out his hand and landed on Nyeseth, dealing a damaging blow and he his Nyeseth's sword and the energy in his hand blasted into him.
Desco watched as the two fought for a while with curiosity and excitement. But with that last blow, Desco realized that Mr. Samurai might need her help. As she watched, she saw that Mao was using a burst of super speed in his last attack to catch Nyeseth off guard. "Be careful Nyeseth! Do you want Desco's help?" However, she didn't get an answer as he was a little busy.
Nyeseth laid still for a while as Mao jumped off of being on top of him and waited for him to do something. He considered how things had gone so far and it wasn't good, he would have to pull out all the stops on this one. He called out his Shikai. "Bleach them white, Shiro Ryu" Nyeseth's Sword transformed into the blade formed from bone as he had during the fight with the Cockatrice. He wasted no time. "Now, Flash Strike!" The Soul Reaper with his transformed sword Flash Stepped to where Mao was standing, who was surprised at Nyes's burst of speed. Nyeseth struck Mao but didn't stop there, Flash stepping over and over again to strike Mao from every angle. The first few strikes made their mark, but Mao figured out what he was doing and started to block some of the incoming slashes.
Mao started to cast a series of his elemental spells in turn, Nyeseth took the first ice spell covering his body and exploding at full but he managed to dodge the others as starbursts and Ice blasts traced the path that Nyeseth moved in. "So you do do have some interesting tricks there! But I doubt you can keep that up for long!" He was right as Nyeseth had exhausted himself with the barrage of Flash Strikes already. He charged in for another hit, but as he appeared at Mao's side, Mao had already cast Star on that spot and the three bursts teared through him, while a second had hit the air as he had covered his bases. With the successful hit, Mao held out his sword and burst moved next to Nyeseth, slashing him along the way, and then jumping back to where he had started for a stab into Nyeseth.
The Soul Reaper backed off, and his Shikai reverted to normal. It seemed that his powers that he had before were not going to return so easily as the duration he could keep up his Shikai was much shorter than in the Soul Society, or perhaps it was also the difference in the kind of world this was. Regardless, Desco approached him and Mao, wanted to help. "Come on, Desco wants to help!" Before she could get close, Mao snapped and held out his hand. "Giga Ice!" A blue magical circle carved itself into the ground at his feet and a transparent blue sphere appeared around Mao with two rings spinning around the sphere. The sphere expanded. and both the sphere and circle disappeared, with a new magical circle appearing above Nyeseth.
Nyeseth backed off a little, to him this was obviously some kind of Kido attack. The magical circle created a series of very large blue water bubbles in the air, calm and serene as they just hanged there. But suddenly Nyeseth was encased in ice, in the bottom part of a huge ice star that covered the area. "Nyeseth!" The Giga Ice shattered itself, and the shattering forced ripped through the Soul Reaper's body who collapsed to the ground, unmoving. Desco charged over to him, "Mr. Samurai?"
Mao was clearly exhausted from the attack, and he considered his options now. Since taking out one of their number and taken so much out of him, he would probably die if he continued to fight. He may be a psychopathic unfeeling scientist demon but he wasn't stupid. "I guess that is just too bad for him then. I'll be back for you two again!" Mao burst off in a burst of speed accelerating up to his super speed quickly before suppressing his life signs from Guu's senses and activating his stealth for everyone else's senses.
