Taloc rolls to his feet, instinctively firing the dart at Bandit before dropping down to a knee. A small amount of blood drips down from the bottom of his mask as she makes her bold announcement, calling him out and urging him to get back into the fight. Cautiously, he raises a hand up and feels his chest.
‘One, two… Four broken ribs… Fuck… Just what I needed right now...'
Leaving Ire on the ground, Taloc reaches up to his mask and tosses it away, blood lining the inside from where he quite clearly coughed it up. Quickly wiping his chin, Taloc scoops up his sword and climbs to his feet, the grinning brute already barreling down on him. Moving on instinct, he bends backward trying to get below the incoming hammer, at least, until the pain hits… Stopping mid-motion, Taloc is forced to jump back, narrowly dodging the mass of steel when his back collides with something…
“Hey!” Makoto yells, being interrupted mid-attack. “If you want to live, don't get in my way!”
Makoto’s yellow eyes flash violently as he grabs Taloc by the scruff of his shirt, throwing him to the side as the motor block crashes down where they had been standing. Kerrigan laughs, clearly enjoying the internal strife. “Come now, boys… You have to play nice if I’m to get any real satisfaction out of this.”
Rage cracks across Makoto’s face as he looks Taloc square in the eye. “Keep that bitch off me. This monster is mine.”
Taking up his claymore, Makoto launches himself at Sarah once more, managing himself surprisingly well considering his stature. Not to mention whatever those creatures she keeps calling are… Shaking his head, Taloc fights back a wave of dizziness as he tries climbing to his feet.
Footsteps, approaching fast… Raising his weapons, Taloc looks up just to see a grinning maniac already mid-swing. ‘How the hell didn’t I hear that roaring?’ Taloc thinks desperately, throwing himself to the side. Landing hard, Woe clatters across the ground from limp fingers, much to his own surprise. Looking back up, wildly, Taloc sees… No one… Bandit having turned her attention to Makoto during his daze.
Standing up, intending to retrieve his weapon, he stumbles, barely catching himself on all fours, Woe seeming to laugh at his weakness in front of him. Wind blasts across the stage as the roaring gets louder, but all of this is background noise, seeming so far away… Panting harder and harder, Taloc can’t help but notice his fingers have started turning blue. Lack of oxygen, a distant voice seems to say, but that too gets dismissed as background noise.
Getting his feet back under him proved to be a much more difficult matter than he could’ve imagined… If only the world would stop spinning… As the world starts getting darker, he looks up to the sky, confused at the lack of clouds…
The jolt of his back hitting the ground was sudden and abrupt. Looking down across himself, Taloc lets out a painful exhale, just to see the left side of his chest rise… “Hell… Sucking chest.” He says softly, reaching towards Ire’s hilt. Pulling a dart free, he takes a deep breath, winces, then plunges the dart between his ribs.
A soft hiss sounds around the metal as the excess air escapes from his punctured lung, lessening the pressure and bringing faint feeling back into his limbs. Gingerly, he stands back up, clutching Ire with a death grip in his one remaining good hand, the other clutching his chest. Pulling the sliver of metal out and tossing it to the side, an excess of blood spills from the small hole.
Shuffling towards the melee still going strong, Taloc raises Ire and launches a dart at Bandit’s exposed back. 'I need to get her attention...'
“Hey fuck face,” He yells with as much force as his lungs can muster. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been pushed this hard. Don’t you dare disappoint me!”
Bandit turns, seeing him standing she laughs. “Thought you died on me! Let's play.”
His black eyes burning with determination, he throws himself forward… and takes a hydralisk spine to the shoulder. Staggering back, he looks over Bandit’s shoulder to see Kerrigan smiling like some kind of twisted predator, the strange broad-headed creature having shot a single spine before taking a blow from Makoto for her. Nonetheless, Bandit wasn’t about to leave him alone after his declaration of defiance.
Swinging her hammer viciously forward, Taloc ducks low, throwing himself towards her in a last-ditch effort. Expecting the move this time around, Bandit pulls the butt of the handle back towards the weakened assassin in an attempt to crush him against her breastplate. Their eyes meet for the briefest of moments, and he spits a mouthful of blood directly into her face before dodging out the way of the hammer, just in time for her to slam it into her own chest.
Grinning widely, Taloc stumbles while putting some more distance between the two of them. “Not out of this yet…”
