(Open) Between the velvet lies

Things suddenly took quite the unexpected, and rather chaotic turn as another new arrival made himself known. A string of useful information and an apparent gift, followed by a request of Dio, that the ice-man was sure would be met with the usual manner he had, already, come to expect...but was instead met with merely an almost dismissive acceptance. Certainly quite odd, given their host's attitude until that moment.

What followed, as Inlumia took his place upon the stage, and the one who appeared to be the real owner of this mansion asserted his presence and reprimanded Dio -- extremely harshly, indeed -- was nothing short of....strange. For his own part, Kuzan chose to stay out of it, doing nothing more than attempting to keep track of the events going on. He only slowly shook his head when the short little man went to confront Inlumia at the stage, before returning his own attention to their hunting party -- and specifically, their host, in his rather pitiful current condition.

"Looks like things took a sharp turn south..." he mumbled. No matter what happened next, something was going to fall apart. And with the current predicament, he couldn't really guess what that might be. Might be best to just sit back, watch and wait, for now.

And that was just what he planned to do.
