[Round 1] Taloc & Makoto vs Kerrigan & Bandit
#3
The Bandit’s impromptu disappearance from the ring caused Sarah to look back with shock, as her new partner fell from the ring. Both of her opponents observed the situation with interest, seemingly in disbelief that they could have obtained an early ring-out this quickly.

Their disbelief was met with an expected answer, as Bandit rose atop a giant chitinous crest. Both her opponents had been so occupied with Kerrigan’s mock horror and the fate of the Bandit that neither had noticed when Kerrigan had sent a telepathic twinge at a minion she’d already hidden in case of just such an emergency. The monster had reared its head just in time to prevent the Bandit’s early ring out.

“I’m investing a lot of time and effort into this competition. I hope I don’t have to do that again this match. After all, I’m sure my hydralisk is so disappointed he doesn’t get to play anymore.” Kerrigan added with a cocky smirk, still not taking her eyes off the claymore wielding wild-card.

“Fuck, my fucking ass! The hell’s your monster made of?” came Bandit’s expected reply.

“Give me a moment and I’ll show you…” Kerrigan replied with a smirk, dodging Makoto’s next slash with an aerial somersault. The Bandit was unceremoniously dumped to the ground by a quick “flip” as the hydralisk flipped it’s crest forward, using the bony plate like a springboard. “After all, it’s not Jak’s job to clean up after my pets. That’s my responsibility…”

Sarah’s open palm stretched out to the hydralisk, as if beckoning to the monstrosity. Almost instantly, a piercing shriek came from the snakelike creature, thrashing its head back and forth as it straining against some unseen pressure.

Sarah’s hand clenched into a fist, and the monster’s head exploded. Blood, flesh and shredded grey matter were pulled from the corpse by a telekinetic vacuum cleaner, until the rapidly deconstructed horror became nothing more than a horrific blob of blood, bone and chitin. Kerrigan quirked a smile at her opponents as Bandit rubbed at her sore butt.

With a simple snap of her fingers, Kerrigan shot the collected filth and blood and mucus at her opponents with all the telekinetic force she could muster, bathing the area with a steady stream of gore that covered the arena tiles in a reddish-brown slurry.

Taloc escaped the attack by taking to the sky, jumping high into the air. “Dude, that’s amazing! It’s like a blood-and-guts slip ‘n slide!” Bandit commented as she opened fire on the assassin, filling the air with deadly lances of solid light. Makoto thrust his hand in the air, and Kerrigan was barely given enough time to react when an electrical blast arced out for the Bandit’s head. The blast was a few inches from the Bandit’s head when it crackled and dissipated against a weave of blue fabric.

“The umbrellas around the ring seem to just be for decoration, but it looks like they’re more than enough to stop your little fireworks display.” Kerrigan explained, before rushing the blue-haired magician. A lunge with shredding claws yielded nothing but air, and her experienced opponent was quick to stop her momentum with a hard shot to the jaw. Once, twice, and again Kerrigan’s vision stuttered from multiple blows to the head. An uppercut to her chin left Sarah open for a hard shot to her stomach, and the Queen of Blades doubled over in front of her opponent, falling to her knees with mouth agape.

Kerrigan put a hand to her mouth, black ichor flowing, as The Fool raised his blade above Kerrigan’s neck.

Kerrigan grinned. With her enhanced senses, she could enjoy this moment in its entirety: tasting the metal,, and hearing his skyrocketing heartbeat as he prepared to finish her.

She’d found her opportunity.

Kerrigan dodged out of the way of the surprised swordsman just an inch before the blade would have separated her head from its shoulders. She held her wrist forward and cocked, and holes burst open all across her skin. A shotgun blast of small, explosive parasites peppered Makoto’s body with tiny explosions, throwing off his footing. Before the young magician could regain his footing, Kerrigan struck with a barrage of wings, claws, and vicious kicks, a whirlwind of blows battering Yuki’s defences from every angle. With every blow, the schoolboy was forced to give up inch after inch of ground.

Makoto had a look of nervousness on his face as Kerrigan’s strikes hit from every angle, trying to steal a glance behind him.

“Oh, you don’t need to worry about being knocked off the edge.” Kerrigan taunted. The Infested Queen could almost hear his heart stop as the kid hit hard exoskeleton and corded muscle behind him as he tried to back away. Drool coated his hair from above as the low, unmistakable growl of a hydralisk revealed it’s source.

“No, these people are watching to see a real show. They won’t be satisfied with just a ring-out. You’ll leave the ring once I decide your bloodied corpse is no longer entertaining, and not a second before.”

Kerrigan has taken a couple bruises to the face from Makoto's pounding.
Makoto had Kerrigan's "parasite" move used on him, but despite the explosions it's probably just a few superficial cuts and bruises. he also has a lot of saliva now in his hair. like, completely drenched. enjoy that.
Summary: Kerrigan Saved Bandit from an early ring-out, shot the entirety of a dead hydralisk out at her opponents like a gross fire-hose, and then backed Makoto between a horrifying abomination... and a hydralisk.
