“Soldier…” She said under her breath.
She remembered to a time when she was younger, when she would part from her master to go play with the other Pokemon. Some of the older ones would pass along tales from thousands of years ago; the kind of stories you would never tell a human child. Some reason, thinking back on those stories made her feel nostalgic.
“There was Soldiers of my kind a long time ago. Not Lopunnies, soldiers of Pokemon I mean. They were fighting some great evil. It’s been so long since I’ve heard the stories… Now we don’t really fight in that way…” she began, “Now we just kind of fight each other for fun. The humans tame us and get us to fight each other. Sometimes for a cause, but mostly for the fun of it I guess. I don’t know, never was my thing.”
After a brief pause, she turns to the three.
“I’m sorry I’m so nervous with you. I’m not used to humans talking to me as if I were an equal… or at all since I couldn’t speak their language. I guess I have omni to thank for that.” She said, her shaking slowing and her shoulders relaxing. “I guess it’s something to get used too. Don’t have a master to tell me what to do anymore…”
She gives them an awkward smile.
“Anyways, that’s why I’m going to Cinnabar. It’s a place Pokemon in the Omniverse live. That’s what I’m looking for at least.”
