"Ah, ah~" Edelith sang. Doing a little jig, she hopped up to the tips of her toes, skittering a bit closer towards the ape-man. With a smooth shuffle, she also moved sideways partly between him and the large disembodied dragon head, yet always kept her prize in the corner of her vision. "You asked if you died, not if you were dead. Now, I'm no scientist, but you look pretty alive to me."
Studiously, she grinned, bent her legs slightly, and lightly reached her palm forward in a pawing gesture, ending it with a point at his chest. "Your heart still beats, doesn't it?" Without waiting for a reply, she span around, splaying out the arm not holding her sword during the twirl. "This isn't an afterlife, silly. It's a whole new world."
