Edelith stormed through the Nexus, scowling. Her ice sword was held lazily in one hand, and the large head of the ice dragon that dared wrong her was being dragged by the other. Coagulated gloopy droplets of blood still plopped out of its severed neck, leaving a trail back to the frozen fields across the bone-white Nexus floor. Molten rock pooled down her outstretched limb, stuck to her body by a layer of cracked crispy rock and fusing her fingers to a tooth on the dragon's upper jaw. Comparatively, the rest of her body looked deceptively cold, despite the magma boiling under their surface of her skin - all except her eyes. Piercing, with burning ire.
Soft little thumps echoed out as her warm fluffy winter's boots met the ground for each muffled stomp. From a distance, she most likely looked slow, but people say the same thing about trains, right up until they get a little too close to the tracks. The dragon likely thought the same thing before a hammer crunched through its ribs.
Muscles heaving from the strain of lugging her trophy - abated only by how the smooth scales allowed the skull to slide like a makeshift sleigh - Edelith soon approached the fountain. She had no goal in mind. She was just sick of the damned cold.
Her gaze softened, her eyes brushing over an ape-like man, either skittish, wary, or confused in demeanour. All the signs of a new prime. She stopped, her smooth boots skidded like slippers over a freshly waxed hall, timed almost perfectly to send her petering to a halt a few metres behind him.
She smiled, the semi-solid magma partially retreated back into her skin leaving her right arm and glove covered with only a warm layer of rock - a faint glow shone out from under her long sleeve coat. "Hiyya. Wassup? You must be new, right? I'm Edelith. It's nice to meet you, mister."
