Aang had shifted uncomfortably when Inlumia had mentioned the blood *specifically* of vegetarians. Aang had shifted uncomfortably when Dio had gone off on this Velgr character. He had shifted uncomfortably when Inlumia had kicked the actors off the stage, and when he began to feel the obvious effects of calming magic upon him. But most of all, he shifted uncomfortably upon being brought back to reality when a man barely taller than he, were it not for the top hat, walked up and sucker punched Dio in the gut.
It seemed his and Homura's rather vital questions about the expedition would have to wait. In fact, the expedition itself may have to wait. Things had taken a turn for the chaotic, and Aang was but a few feet from the center of the commotion. More and more of the other nearby guests were turning to watch the violence unfold, broken suddenly from the grasp of Inlumia's distraction magic, though most of the room somehow managed to remain oblivious. Luckily, Dio's assaulter had left the table to confront Inlumia up on the stage. It seemed that Dio himself was less in control of his own party with every passing moment, and it was obvious from his demeanor that this was greatly distressing to the wolf-masked host. In fact, this proud man was now kneeling on the floor, covered in blood, and spit. Aang extended a hand. "Uh, Dio, are you alright?"
The party was beginning to unravel, that much was obvious. It was looking less and less likely that Dio would ever extend his theatrical invitation to the rest of the party considering the current atmosphere and his current state. Aang wasn't sure whether the party was even still in discussions about the Tarrasque, and suddenly felt the overwhelming desire to flee. Taking such action, however, certainly wouldn't help the situation of the party in general or those guests gathered around him for whom Aang was beginning to grow a soft spot merely on basis of association. For the sake of preserving the delicate balance around him, Aang remained still and waited for the ever-growing suspense to unfold.
