Link groaned quietly as he stepped down from the teleporter pad, having arrived in the staging area. Teleportation was never his preferred method of travel, not that he had had much experience with such, regardless, it did little to settle the nerves in the pit of his stomach, the opposite rather. The knot in his stomach felt as though it was twisting and churning, more and more with every passing step that took the Hylian towards the bunch of Primes mingling up ahead.
The teen Hero grumbled quietly to himself, ducking and siddling his way through the various groups of people he did not recognise. The occasional Prime, however, caught his eye. Mickey and Proto-Man off to the side, to name a couple. He considered approaching the pair, but thought the better of it. He needed to get into the right state of mind if he was to make it anywhere in this tournament. Link sighed and hung his head for a brief moment.
“Plenty of strong looking Primes about here, hey, Navi?” The Hylian muttered to his Fairy partner.
“You signed up for it, Link, don’t complain.. Maybe we should head somewhere where you can get back into the swing of things, hm?” Navi chimed, fluttering around the nervous teen’s head.
“Mh, yeah, sounds like I sho-..” Link started before being cut off by a much larger Prime, who the boy didn’t recognise, nudged into him, knocking him aside. The Hylian grunted and turned to see who had shoved him aside, only to miss him, the Prime had disappeared into the crowd again.
Link sighed, heavily at that, before turning toward the training area and making his way through the minglers. The boy made his way into the training area and approached a dummy, off to the side of the room, in the hopes he’d not be disturbed, and set about his training with the Master sword.
