Intermission from Doom

"What do ya call yourself, little fella?"
Lopunny was jolted out of her breathing when she heard someone ask for her name. She looked up and finally noticed the group she was sitting next to. The ninja boy she had noted already, but the other two strange fellows had eluded her attention somehow. One was this really muscular human who looked incredibly fierce; he had strange metal devices all over his body, but the only one she could recognize was the man’s pistol, which she remembered the cops from her universe having those.
‘Could he be a police officer?’ she thought to herself.
She looked over to the other man who had pale blonde hair and a long trench coat. The only humans she could think of that wore trench coats were detectives. She began to think she stumbled onto two officers on their break. She guessed maybe the boy was their son; he looked about a year too young to be a full-blown trainer and no reason he’d be unattended in a bar at his age. But was it possible for two human males to have a child together? She knew that only Pokemon of opposite genders could have offspring, but humans were mysterious and amazing creatures, they probably don’t function the same way.

She noticed the three watching her intently, and she suddenly remembered that she had been asked a question just now.
“G-Good evening officers.” She said nervously, “I mean… morning… I-I am called Lopunny.”
Almost panicking, she swiveled in place on her stool and tried o give them a respectful bow, but she nearly fell over, causing kito to reach out and catch her before she plummets to the floor.
“Oh uh… th-thank you…” She said, as she climbed back into her seat.
