Rushing from his home again with what could be a very stupid attempt at trying to save everyone or a very smart one, hell, he could very well be killing himself but given he was a prime he didn’t worry about his own life much. He had protected many people in his life before becoming a prime in this realm of reality, wither it was the witch he served under as a familiar, or the people he’s rescued under her direct instructions, after all she was a witch but she wasn’t an evil one. But he wouldn't think of himself as some amazing hero to be praised, even now he was doing it for the people who gave him something, a life here and a place to earn money and be not worry about living in what could be and was a hostile world. Thinking about his plan of action though as he ran through the streets he would turn down an ally way and stop near the side of a building that was the direct path to the clinic.
Looking down the road he would notice many people, creatures, and the like being stopped from going down the street thanks to a blockade that was set up. He couldn't force his way through it, and negotiating wouldn’t help, even if he was a doctor there as he didn’t want to waste time, so he’d take the other route that lead into the building, or at least past the blockade with out him having to travel above on the roofs of homes and houses. Moving back into the alley he would begin to try and uncover a man hole cover pulling it up and prying it using his sword before he’d flinch and scrunch his noise to the smell coming from the sewer. “Oh fucking god that stinks…” Well when you lived in a town with so many varieties of people you get some interesting combinations that tended to get spilled down in here. “NO, stop thinking about it, ugh just suck it up Ricter, take a deep breath and jump in.” He’d try to not psyche himself out of it, instead he would try to peep himself up before suddenly he’d jump down into the sewers.
Falling for only a few feet he would land on the walking section of the sewers which in the middle was a slosh of dark liquids that he turned away from quickly. Holding his breath still he would begin to walk along, taking small breaths any time he could but not for very long. Moving along the sewer systems towards the clinic he knew the above ground streets but bellow ground it seemed like he’d get lost fairly quickly if he didn’t envision it in his head. He wouldn’t see much down here, beside maybe a shambled cardboard box home or two, but he did notice someone was here seemingly scampering around. Normally he’d be wary of giant rodents, which this one seemed to be almost half his size and probably weighing just as much but they would perk up and look over to the weasel, smiling. “Oh my! A visitor? I rarely see anything like you down here stranger, are you lost?” She would ask, having a nice sun hat on her head with ‘flowers’ that were made of cut out aluminum cans. Ricter would try not too talk but would suck it up and hold his nose, he’d be sure to take a shower after this.
“Clinic, its above ground, do you know where it is?” He asked quickly as she would giggle, rubbing her whiskers as the big rat would think for a second and then say, “Clinic you say? Well I think its this way, its where all those nice band-aids get thrown down here, right?” The idea that she might be eating band-aids made him almost gag, which was only helped by the smell but he would swallow his stomach before it got shown. “Y-yeah, I think so, also I’m Ricter, thank you for the help!” He’d say to her as she would smile , giving a small curtsy as she was wearing a type of Gothic era dress, her tone was fancy as well, something he wasn’t expecting but was happy for the help and her politeness too. “Your thanks is mighty appreciated sweetie, come, I’ll show you the way.” With that he would walk with her towards what he hoped was the end of his wandering around. “You may call me Elyisa, if you wish you may come back down to visit me again? I know a tea you’d absolutely love to try out.” She’d offer which for what it was worth he would consider it, especially given she helped him get to the latter leading to what he could guess was the man hole cover right outside the clinic.
This probably wouldn’t be the most heroic entrance he’s ever made but at least he got here and past the blockades as he nodded and noticed her holding out his hand to him. Not in a way he was probably used too seeing, but he quickly realized what she wanted him to do, and so he’d frown before getting down on one knee and giving her hand a kiss. Which sent shivers down his spine as he could almost taste the-- soap? Wait one second. Moving in he would sniff her a bit, she smelt like flowers, much nicer than everything around him as she smiled and pulled her hand away, “My if you want to get so close I’d think you’d be interested in a kiss somewhere else stranger~” Which he’d pull away soon after and notice that the smell of trash and garbage snuck up on him again, odd but interesting in a way as he would move towards the latter, “S-sorry, thank you again Elyisa. I’ll be sure to share some tea with you later.” He’d say as he began climbing the latter, granting a wave with her ring hand, “Bye bye sweetie, hope you get to work on time doctor.”
With no other answers he would pull up the man hole cover and push it to the side, breathing in deeply once he made it too the surface, the warm yet clean jungle air filling his lungs and making him sigh in relief as he looked around. No one was close to the clinic, if anything they made the blockades take up a wide scope of space, which was smart but still made him worry a tad about who all was afflicted. Still as he closed the man hole cover, but not before waving down to the rat lady, the weasel would get strait to heading for the clinic as he was right outside of the building. Inside the atmosphere seemed to all but die, he’d notice many people laid across stretchers while nurses who normally would be taking care of them were laying on chairs and what not. Every chair was a bed or place to sit down or lay down, and even now as he breathed in the air it was thick and heavy, he knew now he couldn’t turn back from his plan as Maria was laying in her chair, unable to move nor responded once Ricter spoke up. “Maria! Are you okay? Maria!” The fairy would simply groan and whimper, “R-Ricter…” Her tone was soft and baited, for her it must hurt to even speak and from that he knew Dr. Sorrel couldn’t be any better.
Not daring to touch her body given the virus weakened the body so much it could cause cracks in bones he would begin running down the halls, he was heading for the operation room. The same halls he walked with the Sylveon just yesterday as she was explaining his test to become a doctor, now he was running down them to save the doctor and possibly everyone else who’s inside of the clinic. As he came to the room where he fought the treent he would walk forward, just as he thought, the moss and flowers that spilled from the elder treents body was in a small pile in the middle of the floor. Getting down on his knee’s he would reach into a pouch he had and place a white seed into the moss, allowing it to be covered by it as he watched and waited. Seconds would turn to a few long minutes before a sprout would appear, then turning into a small flower and growing more and more, the information he read in the book was that the moss from aging treent was as good as any soil or mana manipulating magic. In the span of 5 minutes the white herb would sprout fully, becoming just as lively as it was prior, before being burned away into nothing but a seed.
Pulling the herb from the moss he would place it down in front of him and with a bowl and grinding tool he’d start to use what he learned from Vee and her brother Vel to better distribute the possible cure. Turning the herb into powder he would cough a few times but ignore it, using other small herbs and what not he managed to get from Vee’s shop well before all this happened. Mixing them into one large bowl he would look into the moss for a second, taking some of it he would simply sprinkle some into the bowl before he’d pour the rest of the water with it. Quickly the liquid would be absorbed but turn into a glowing mix of herbs and water, looking more like a gel like liquid that was a bit tough. This was only enough for maybe two or three people at the most, but he had another plan in mind. Placing his blade down in front of him he would draw a small rune on the face of it before he’d take his paws and run the salve along the weapon. The rune pulling it into it, taking the medical salve for its own as he began enchanting his own sword to forever have the salve as apart of it, and in a way apart of him too.
Once it was done he would channel his magic for a few minutes, ensuring that his weapon connected back to him, after all it was his own abilities and power that influenced what he could heal and not heal. But in a way he was literally making his own technique as he stayed in a meditative posture for well around five or so minutes as the salve was fully absorbed into the blade. Now to test it, charging his weapon he would pick it up and have it face himself, as if he were about to commit suicide. Though as he pushed it into himself, through his stomach it wouldn’t harm him, instead as he focused a tad he would feel something being pulled out of him as a mark was left in its place. The sensation of weakness from the Palizum virus was gone, and when he got up he would look at his shining weapon before It faded again to look like a normal sword, he knew then that he not only found a cure for the virus but possibly any other thing that could cause harm to a body internally.
