Unlike the almost 15 to 20 minute walk that it typically took to go from the clinic to his home it was more so a 5 minute sprint as he ran there, wondering what was happening. What it had to do with Sr. Sorrel, and everything else that related to why he was now sprinting back to the clinic at such a rate, forgetting completely about the ability to make his own transportation. Eventually he would make it to the building, still tired and groggy from being woken up early, and from running as well, bursting through the doors he would try to calm down, pacing himself to a stop at the front desk as the fairy there would point, not even saying anything as she knew why he was here, “Room 204.” Was her response and the weasel would nod, tired but he would work it out as he would begin jogging down the halls. The nurses noticing him along the way as they tended to others who were injured or just staying to recover from their wounds, each giving that same look of worry.
Climbing the steps at a slow pace than his jog he was exhausted, but he would have plenty of time to relax once he got to the second floor, numbers of rooms passing him on the way, scaling higher and higher till eventually he’d see the room from a distance. Because two other doctors were in front of the room, one seemed to be a male, human in shape and having a white complexion and brown hair. He wore a blue dress shirt and black tie with the doctors coat on as well, having a pair of glasses on his face as he looked inside of the room. The other being a round creature, by the looks of it a blissy, a big pink pokemon who held an egg in its front pouch and worse a mix of a nurse and doctors attire as the weasel ran up to them both. “Wh..whats g..going o-on..” He’d say, out of breath but all ears as the two looked over too him, peering through a glass window as it lead to one of the offices, in fact it was Dr. Sorrels office.
“Ricter you made it! Dr. Sorrel he’s here.” Said the blissy, which as he began to catch his breath he’d stop being hunched over and look at the foggy glass, moving closer as the door seemed locked but he could make out the form of the sylveon on the other side, he could hear coughing and a few sneezes as well. “R-Ricter?..Ah I see ugh..you made it.” A voice would say from the other end of the door, which as he would try to open up the door she would quickly say, “No! Don’t come in, it seems I contracted something nasty, s-something out of the ordinary..” She’d cough again as he stepped back from the door but only slightly. “I had to quarantine m-myself in my office..so the others wouldn’t get I-infected. I think its the Palizum virus…” This word seemed to spark more concern that he wanted to admit as she said it, the two other doctors would look at each other then to Ricter as they asked.
“I don’t think I’ve heard of that before, what is it?” The human male said as Ricter would explain, “It was a virus that degrades your health but at the same time saps away your energy and muscle mass till your unable to move and leaving you a shriveled husk. Eventually leading to death, Dr. Sorrel was--” He would be cut off by Dr. Sorrel as she would speak up once he was going too far into the explanation, “That’s e-enough Ricter, they don’t need any more information. What we need to focus on is f..finding a cure.” She’d remark with a tired tone as the three doctors outside would begin to hear papers shuffling and moving around, then the click of a camera phone before Ricter would get a beep on his own phone and see what looked like a picture and a bunch of notes and what not inside of said picture. “Thats all the notes I have on it, i-its as serious as the blight in some ways..I haven’t found a way to c..cure it, but if you can find a fairy spring, and maybe a--” She’d sneeze, pausing before they would hear a loud ‘thump’, as if something hit the floor hard which only sparked concern as the blissy would try to open the door but stop herself.
“W-white…herb..find them, mix into a salve..hurry..” Soon her voice went silent as Ricter banged on the door, “Dr. Sorrel? Dr. Sorrel!” This was bad, she didn’t have much time, and he had so many questions as to how she contracted this, but for now he would look to the two other doctors and ask them, “Please make sure she will be okay.” Before running back down stairs, fairy spring water and a white herb, two things he didn’t know too much about but he knew who to ask as he was back down to the front entrance again. “I need to know where a fairy spring is located!” He’d ask the fairy there who was surprised he was back down here so soon but as he asked this she would mull it over. “Its…Supposed to be a secret place, I don’t think I can--” Growling he would lean in further, over shadowing her smaller frame, “Please, if I can’t get there Dr. Sorrel may very well die!” He’d demand which shocked her, but she would soon make up her mind as she rummaged through a cabnet and gave him an ear piece to wear. Telling him, “I’ll walk you through there, it will be a while before you make it, but if you get there just be sure to not be tricked by any of them. Go out the south gate exit to Ambrosia, I’ll tell you the rest.”
He gave a simple nod and would make his way outside, clearly confused and with a ton of questions, but he’d try to ask them along the way.
