Doing two at once doesn't seem ideal, to me. A lot of extra bookkeeping on Alex's part, for one. And it stops being Dante's Abyss and starts being 2 separate Dante's Abysses. Just seems clunky and awkward. I think it'd be best to just determine a single format (like what's going on with the voting) and make that the norm for everyone.
There's always going to be people who aren't going to be perfectly happy with how it's formatted no matter where the vote goes. The best we can do is put it to a vote and hope the people who lose the vote are still fine with the way we went.
