They eyed the bigger male with a sense of distrust, while staring at the female.

“Why are you staring at us?”

The white stormtrooper turned toward the shorter two “What are a couple of kids doing out here on the street?”

Kyle raised an eyebrow and calmly nodded “We are lost.”

“...”

Star turned toward the stormtrooper and raised a eyebrow and signed out the symbol for “Yes, we are lost.”

The stormtrooper figured it couldn’t be too bad to help out a pair of kids who were lost.

“Sure, where are you trying to get to?”

After discussion with each other, Kyle and Star took the brief eyeing of the man in white.

The stormtrooper pointed to a far distance out into the city as the two were gone before he said anything else.

Kyle eyed Star and frowned “Glad we got away from him… I don’t trust these guys.”

Star signed “Me neither.”

They took a brief walk to stare, impressed at everything they had missed during Judgement Day back home.

“Damn, it’s beautiful!” Kyle’s eyes lit up as Star joined him.

Until their stomachs rumbled.

Star pointed to her stomach and cuped it in a C position, moving it down lightly.

Kyle sighed “Well we can see about food in a bit, Star, let’s keep moving.”

Star did it again, more annoyed than usual “I’m STILL hungry, Kyle.”

Kyle stopped and did a double take “Fine, we’ll get some food. It might been whatever scrappy stuff we can find, star. That ok?”

Star moved her hand near her mouth and pushed it out, signing the symbols for “Thank you, that is fine.”

Kyle nodded and said “Let’s go then.”

Later in the day, that’s when Kyle and Star found themselves in some sort of alley digging through the local garbage looking for food, just like old times.
