As long as you clarify that the acid is only for going through natural objects, and not for some magical shield or some other move-thing or actual people, you're good. So, "inanimate barriers" doesn't cover it.
To reiterate and kinda make some of my other comments a bit clearer, since after thinking about it I've changed my mind a bit here:
You being able to shoot through a random wall isn't a massive strength unless you have enhanced senses. But, even then, It's more like a cool plus, imo. So your gun isn't going to suddenly be weak just because you can shoot through normal walls (and I'm fine with bullets being the full strength on the other side). Something like this would work (but I don't think you'd need subpar damage, you have 5 ATK and it fires 5 shots per second, its damage would be alright and taking multiple shots would add up).

My main problem with your original description is that someone could spend time and effort making a wall of rock with their move, but because it's only 0.5m thick you'd somehow get to ignore it. Shooting through a wall of rock that's not someone's move is totally fine, however. Assuming I understood your intention, you're attempting to do the latter and not the former.
