Appearance: Can you give a rough height for him? You can tweak it a bit later, something like "about six foot" is good enough.

I'll certainly add a height in. He's about 5' 10". Very average.

Acid Pain:
"The Acid coating each round of its ammunition allows Acid Pain to penetrate barriers and shields less than a meter thick (other than Super Defenses), dealing its normal damage to targets beyond them."
I'm going to say no to that. You will pierce shield moves based on that strength of that shield (and the strength of your move). Someone could spend 10 seconds and a bunch of energy making something that's a millimetre thin, whereas someone else could spend one second making something really thick, but weak. There would be a trade-off here. Able to go through shields, but weaker against primes in general. And, the stronger a shield, the weaker your bullets would be on the other side - likely slower, I'd guess. And even then, I'm not so sure you could have something with an inherent bonus against shields like that.

If you just wanted bullets that pierce everything (i.e. go through trees and shield moves and so on), they'd need to be weaker, and you would need phasing. And, presumably, it can be blocked by 'energy' shields, similarly to how energy attacks hit phasing people.

If you were just trying to describe the strength of the move, then specify its just physical terrain, and say what type (metal and wood are different things, yo). But, that'd be dependant on ATK and it's better to just say how weak or powerful they are in general.

I must have worded the Move poorly, because I had mentioned the damage was "sub-par at best" earlier on, but when I said "deals its normal damage" later on, it must not have been clear that I meant the normal, sub-par damage. But why, exactly, would I need Phasing? Is this poor wording on my part again? The acid coating is meant to burn a hole through the obstacle, not bypass it exactly. In a similar way to, say, a high damage Move that is able to break walls. Would it be better if I put in: "The Acid-coating on each projectile does nothing to an actual opponent, but it lends the round exactly enough extra damage to punch a bullet-sized hole in an obstacle"?

This is good. Just remember, the gun being accurate up to 100m doesn't mean you can shoot it accurately that far.

Right. Obviously that accuracy is under ideal conditions (non-moving target, plenty of time to line up the shot, no chaos of battle).

This is good. With area attack. Also, 90 degrees cone, lol. What a meme.

I'll fix that. I got lazy, knew what Profs I had, and just put in minimal words. I'll also fix the typo.

Quote:Thot Potato:
So, does controlling it with his wrist thing occupy both his hands and take up all his concentration, then? And how fast do they go? Also, area attack.

It takes up both hands and occupies enough of his attention that he can do little more than hunker down in cover. I didn't put an explicit speed, but I did mention that 90 meters is as far as they can go in 10 seconds. So, an implied 9 meters per second.

Quote:The Sequel:
Is the energy drain on Jack? Or just the battery? If Jack gets tired, how tired does this make him? Also, is the control automatic? Or does he press buttons? It's not 100% clear. Also, this doesn't need an 'area' proficiency. It's just individual objects. Nor is it an attacking or directly defensive move.

The energy drain is on the battery, but it's mentally taxing to control all 10 Jacks at once, for obvious reasons. Certain slight muscle contractions control the Jacks in various ways, which would require a trained eye to see. I put in Area Attack because it DOES summon them over an Area, but if that's not required, I can remove them.

I'll update the join post when I have a little more time on my hands and we hammer out the issues with the Moves.
