"But wait I have more questions about everything...about you and what you are waiting for?!" Mordecai spoke to himself, he watched as the darkness faded, and he found himself in a large white space, a familiar cooing sound came from his shoulder. He smiled warmly at his feather friend. "Hey, hey sweetie you came along with me, so, Ludwig where are we any idea, how about you?" The suit was quiet, too quiet. "Hmph...maybe it needs some food?" Mordecai looked around the expanse seem to never end. He gazed at the fountain adorned with Owl, statues. "You really think he's God? Tch he's strong maybe one of the three powers, but all three of them, sure is beautiful though, I think he is trying to impress me." He looked behind the fountain and gazed at the far off gates.
"That's a long way...you ready for a long trip?" He asked Ludwig, whom answered by cleaning his feathers. He looked back at the fountain, it seemed different now, he shrugged. He dug in his pocket and held a ring. "It was a sudden thing, I'm glad at least I had the opportunity to think about this." He thought about tossing the ring into the fountain, even turned to it. He decided to keep it, pocketing the ring in his breast pocket. He squinted his eyes and looked at a distant gate. "That will be a long walk, time to get walking, I got a good feeling about west, that is where we will go." He spoke to Ludwig. He went over Omni's words. "Waiting on what...how many people have walked this road, will she be here too?" He hoped she interested him.
He was a quarter of the way, when he thought to himself. "Why is it so quiet, is it tired? Then again I do feel different, let's see..." He heard mumbling in his head. "What? Can't really make it out...I think that Omni guy wakened it." He said to Ludwig, mostly himself. Ludwig cleaned his feathers, and pecked gently at Mordecai's ear. He chuckled slightly. "Stop that...come to think of it, I can't even do most of the things I could before, I feel it as though it's gone..." He stopped and tried to form a mallet with the suit, no matter what concentration he made, nothing happened. "The symbiote has been stunted, I have to get mo strength back." He said as he continued another quarter.
If it was not for the Large gate in the distance, he would be loss, no sense of direction, no sense of place, he didn't feel hot or cold. "Strange place...I would be there in no time if I had my full powers..." He sighed comically, mumbles again were heard in his head. "Don't worry I'll help you get back to normal." He was nearly panting now as he was three quarters of the way there. "Sheesh the suit really made things easier for me...I could have bounded there by now, so when we get there just go straight through the gate ok Ludwig."
As they neared the gate he sighed finally here, he looked at the stormtroopers. "I don't want any trouble, i guess they are looking for trouble makers." he looked behind him, the changing fountain in the far distance. "I think this place is a realm in between realms Ludwig, a nexus if you will...could be wrong though. Sure does seem like it." He said glancing at the troopers before heading into the gate.
