The ottsel’s ears drooped “Jak, he doesn’t hate me, does he?”. He sulked and hopped off the bed as he got up.
Nobody else in his contact list had responded and Ashlien didn’t pick up her com either. “Shit, everyone’s hanging me out to dry.” The small ottsel muttered under his breath.
He bit his tongue “Dammit, I’m just glad I’m not a pair of gloves in New Babylon. Heh, I wonder what happened to that place anyway?”
