Lubbock
#1
Character name: Lubbock

Character source: Akame ga Kill!

Character history: "Lubbock was the 4th son born into a wealthy merchant family in a region of the Empire. During his childhood, he met Najenda, who had just moved into the region for the time. Falling in love at first sight, he left the life he had to get closer to Najenda and joined the army. Using his talent, Lubbock rose through the ranks to the point where he could serve and be by her side. He would also join her in her defection to the rebellion, even going as far as to risk his life to change the military records of both him and her to K.I.A." (Quoted from the Akame ga Kill! wiki. Now for the alternate timeline!)
Wires whipped back and forth through the air, slashing like flexible knives, darting in and out of the flesh of the creatures in the area. Lubbock stood there, his green hair hanging down his face, panting for air. They just keep coming! he thought. The monsters just wouldn't stop their onslaught of claws, fangs and the odd dose of acid spit. Again and again Lubbock whipped his wires out at the creatures, severing arms from shoulders, legs from hips and heads from necks. The creatures fit one description: Inhuman. They stood on two legs, coordinated with their hands and conversed in a language like humans do. However, they didn't look remotely like a human. Like a crazy experiment gone wrong. Finally, Lubbock decided to try a different angle. He attempted to bound along the cavern walls, luring the creatures after him. As stupid as I thought. The monsters began to chase after him, climbing along the walls and leaping at him. What they didn't know, though, was that he set up a wire network as he was baiting them. Three that jumped from below him were severed in two, one of them vertical and the the other two horizontal. Another creature leaped up, narrowly avoiding the now bloodstained wire, only to catch himself in a net of wires, twisting his bones in awkward positions. Finally satisfied with his work, Lubbock dropped down off of the walls, and tugged on the wires, slashing them through each of the beasts surrounding him. Blood and gore dropped around lubbock, staining his goggles red. He flung the thick red liquid off of his wires before reeling them back in. Cross Tail, you pleased me once again, he thought, as if speaking to the wires via telepathy. "Well, guess it's time to return to the rest of the gang...", but Lubbock never made it back. The severed body parts of the beasts began to move, shivering and piling up in front of him, glowing yellow energies radiating from the coarse, dead flesh. The pile of bodies exploded outwards, obliterating any traces of the creatures. What was left was a large glowing arch, difficult to see the details because of the light. Lubbock covered his eyes like a visor, and tried to get a better picture of the structure. Blazing yellow light filled his vision, almost eradicating the starry night sky. As the light faded, and the moon took hold of the land once more, the arch had collapsed, the glow disappeared... And with it, Lubbock...

Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 4

Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength (1000 OM)
Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM)

Starting Powers: None

Starting Moves: Cross Tail (Physical Strength): Lubbock wields a weapon known as an Imperial Arms called Cross Tail. Cross Tail consists of a rapid-release spool of nigh-unbreakable wire and two gloves with circular discs on the back. The wire travels up along his back and through his sleeves and to his gloves. The circular discs separate the wire up into five threads, each thread becoming loose at the end of each finger, where blunt, steel claw-like objects reside, with a small sharp edge at the on the top, useless for melee. The wires themselves are around 50m in length, and can be cut off by the claws if needed. The longer he extends the wires, though the harder it is for him to control them.
Wire Whip (Physical Strength: 600 OM): Lubbock slings Cross Tail through the air, whipping the wires like blades, slashing just as deep as them, too. Lubbock mainly uses these threads to bind, though, rather than slash, which could be useless either way against an able-bodied enemy. He can skilfully twist his hands around in the right positions to move the wires as he wishes, allowing him to twist and slash the bodies of his victims, although they canon home in on targets.
Trick Knife (Ranged Proficiency: 300 OM): Lubbock throws a knife with a thread from Cross Tail attached to it, allowing him to pull it back if needed. However, if an enemy is strong enough to grab onto the wire without cutting their hand off, they could pull Lubbock right off of his feet.

Earned OM: 5000
Spent OM: 3200
Remaining OM: 1800
