The raging magi was delivering an onslaught of blows towards Tearen, each of his punches resolving with a resounding thwack. Straizo was breathing heavily as he continued his barrage, until he looked at his former teacher. The Shadow’s eyes glossed over white and Straizo’s fists dropped to the ground, hanging limply like a rag doll. The two primes eyes locked onto each other for a moment and Gilgamesh hunched over, attempting to get a gasp of breath
The air was scalding, every breath burning his lungs. His lips were chapped and drenched in sweat, which the thick Golden Armor didn’t help with. Gil brought his head back up to see Straizo backing away from the ex-enigma, clearly scarred from his momentary vision. Gilgamesh scoured at the Tearen and waved his hand, opening an array of weaponry. Gil spared no resource, each of the spears and swords threatening the Ex-Enigma.
“You lowly magi forget your place in my world. Begone! He attempted to speak haughtily as bullets of sweat trailed down his face. As he fired his swords, a enormous centipede began to coil around his leg. He recoiled at the site of the worm, his ‘arrows’ completely shooting wide. He sneered at the worm, the grotesque illusory magic was all too real. Gilgamesh looked up to see the Shadow pointing to the floor in between the combatants. Gil peered at the Ex-Enigma before realizing what was going on, his knees began to buckle and he was forced to the marble floor. He grit his teeth at the audacity of this Magus, forcing Gil to be beneath him.
Straizo shook his head as he finally got those disdainful images out of his mind and began to take steps forward to press the attack. Gilgamesh shouted at him, bearing his teeth in rage, “If you value your life, mutt, stand back.” His cognitive thoughts began to shut down and the only recognizable thoughts left in his head were ‘Destroy! Destroy! DESTROY!’ Gilgamesh felt himself choking, his breathes becoming more desperate. He looked at his fingers, their skin gradually turning black. Intense gravity stopped, letting Gil get back onto his feet. As he stood, he swayed back and forth in his spot, his porcelain skin slowly being consumed by the black tainted flesh until Gilgamesh was no longer.
“RAAAAGH!” ‘DESTROY...MAGUS…’ were the only thoughts in the monster’s primitive mind. His glowing red eyes were set on Tearen, the image of the Shadow maddened him. Portals, with a more reddish hue than golden, opened up behind the Tainted King. Each of the weapons that greeted Tearen was covered in a thick, black tar that dripped onto the ground. He let out another primal scream, firing the weapons in rapid succession, as Tearen brought up a small disc to deflect the oncoming missiles, deflecting them to the ground. Each weapon sunk into the ground, throwing up dust and debris. ‘Gil’ grunted at the sight of his weapons not meeting the mark and scowled at the Shadow.
‘Gilgamesh’ opened another portal, with a single, tainted hilt peeking out. He reached out and grabbed a golden sword, covered in the unknown, viscous substance. He let out a guttural roar before charging onto Tearen like a bull. Brought up his arms in a defensive stances, coating them in a shiny, telekinetic field. ‘Gilgamesh’ brought down his sword, dripping its thick coating onto Tearen, before he brushed it off with his hand. ‘KILL….MAGUS’ kept repeating over and over in his head, infuriating the tainted king even more. He kept on swinging, each blow faster and stronger than the last. Tearen for once looked concerned, unsure if he could keep up. “GAAAAAH!” Gilgamesh shouted as he rose his blade for a powerful downwards slash. Tearen rose his hands to block the blow but the telekinetic barrier failed him, the King’s tainted blade cutting shallowly in his chest. The Monster used this opportunity to kick the Shadow, causing him to fly across the room.
The monster, content that he had destroyed the mage slowed his breathing down. He felt a sharp sting in his shoulder and turned his head to see a silver hook embedded in his black shoulder and Crocodile giving him a smug smile.
