Hecate didn't respond right away, rather looking at the ruins "That....will... do....nicely." she exclaimed, her smile lingered. "just think of all of the advantages such a base would have!" the cruel smile on her face did not fade , in fact it seemed to grow with each passing moment. "wouldn't you enjoy imprisoning the poor fools who roughed you up so badly?" She asked as she looked at the bruises covering his visible flesh. "I am quite sure you could find a use for the special skills I possess." her thoughts focused on the possibility of finally having the freedom she desired. "don't forget boy, she can see everything when i am in control, but the same goes for me.... plot against me at your own peril." The dark Hecate warned before fading off back into the deep recesses of Hecate's mind.
Hecate once again took control of her own body, irritated at how easily her other self had once again taken control of her body. She didn't say anything though.
She looked to the flat lands around the ruins, the castle itself had more potential than that of Vestura, by far. The walls looked thick enough to survive even the heaviest of siege engines. and the size of the walls would allow a lot of large scale structures to be built. "These ruins are impressive." She said as she moved herself closer, the forest and animals had clearly worn away at the stone, "Will omnilium allow us to restore this marvel of engineering to it's former glory?" She asked. The thirst for a library had caused her to get excited. "perhaps going along with Warren was not such a bad idea after all." she mumbled aloud.
The sounds of the forest was still soothing to Hecate, Much of her recent life she had been cooped up inside of the dungeons, living among the criminals, other recruits and the guards. while that part of her life was over, there were lingering scars that Hecate knew would never heal. Hecate was glad to be good enough birth to have learned how to read and write at a young age, they were traits that she kept to herself. She was unsure how her trainer would have reacted had she learned of her ability to read.
"It's all in the past" she said to herself quietly, she was aware of how close she was to slipping into madness already. "This castle shall have a great library. she called out and pointed to one area in particular, the ruins seemed to have a large area that Hecate seemed would be perfect for the library.
Her own muscles hurt , but she didn't allow it to show on her features, rather the only noticeable change to her since they had started the long hike, was a change in her breathing, it was clear she was getting winded.
As warren spoke regarding working on the castle she nodded her agreement, running her hands against thew unfamiliar stonework she couldn't help but pick at the small gaps, feeling the dirt and rot between her fingertips "It is a good castle, a good name." she replied "It will indeed take a lot of work, but as it seems until our time in this place is done, this will be a base of operations."
Deep inside the depths of Hecate's soul the dark personality smiled and though. "It is also a good place to wage war from."
