Not as a tempest, but as a river, Vin flowed into the fray, ducking low and ripping a loose rock from the cobbles around them. Two claws swiped at her one after another, she narrowly avoided the first, and barely redirected the second using the rock as a buffer before she put all of the weight within her light frame into an unfortunately powerless strike into the jaw of a vargheist. Fortunately, the rock in her hand gave it the force to temporarily stun it, and she capitalized by enter a pattern that her former master had taught her. Unsupported by the enhanced muscles and power that pewter would give, and unaided by the near mystical powers of steel and iron, she flared her tin, and was immediately hyper aware of her foes. Burning it this quickly was nothing compared to the future sight powers of atium, but it was as close as one could get with mere "normal metals".
Swinging the rock back around into the back of another head she dodged another swipe and grabbed the fleshy arm before rolling over the creature's back and dislocating it. In the same swift action, she had used it's own sharp claw to decapitate another foe. Before another could react, she had snapped it's neck so thoroughly that its head hung loosely staring entirely behind it, and she stood ready by her current ally.
"Is this common here?" she asked.
