In my case, I like friendly but somewhat detached people, as a)I don't like being mean; and b)I like doing my own thing. From a fighting perspective, I prefer characters who have plenty of useful yet non-battle abilities, as winning through hard thinking (as oposed to pubstoming) has always been my thing.

You could get a support yourself too. Black Spirit sounds like a fun character
