At first the deck would be empty, and instead of buying moves or assists, he could basically draw things into the cards, or something like that.
The matter of having a limited number of cards in his hand to choice from, and them being randomly selected would be interesting to deal with. Might actually be able to be used as a counter for having multiple character cards active at once. You'd have to speak with Omni on that.
By the time I saw the minichat area it had gone past where the topic started, so I had no idea where the idea came from.
