Steve called over Perkins, Dekkog and Leeroy into the meeting room.
“We have received word from some of our allies in Camelot that an important shipment has arrived in one of the more out of the way tier three museums. We need stealth and people who can blend in so you, Leeroy and Perkins, you’re going to be going in. Dekkog you are going to help me with some smithing since we don’t have 13-Jzall back yet to summon things for us.”
“Ok.”
Perkins and Leeroy left without a word and Dekkog followed Steve into a newly built room which was as good a forge as they could get at the time. Steve and Dekkog went through the basic safety instructions again; always wear protective equipment, there’s a water bucket for a reason and just because you can shape the metal with your bare hands doesn’t mean that you should. Steve gave Dekkog the OK and they started working on a new type of shield and helmet that they could use if they ever started a full scale attack. Steve had heard that if it wasn’t originally summoned then it wouldn’t work, but surely that wouldn’t be true for armour. Steve stopped flattening the metal as he saw Dekkog attaching more metal onto the already quite thick sheet that he had created. It was mostly finished but was still quite rough and didn’t have the correct parts to let Dekkog wield it as a shield. Steve then moved onto tinkering with the pulsing beacon that 13 made, attempting to see what it did or if it could be used as a weapon but it seemed mostly unbreachable and the few areas that could be accessed were constantly sparking with too much electricity for Steve to handle. He saw that Dekkog had begun to smoothen the shield and put down the device. 13’s mad contraption wouldn’t be going anytime soon, he could solve its mystery another day. Dekkog had managed to finish his part of making the shield and started pouring water over it. Steve went to stop him but didn’t bother, it would work anyway.

Quote:8699 words and 46674 characters, post is short and bad because despite the fact that I've been sitting on it for a while, not having 13 to write is difficult. Hopefully I'll be able to finish the quest sooner rather than later.
The soul of the Machine God surrounds thee. The power of the Machine God invests thee. The hate of the Machine God drives thee. The machine god endows thee with life. Live!
