13 considered what Schwi had said and moved his gun down to the centre of her chest, in his experience that would be the next most likely spot to contain a vital organ. He considered what she had said and kept the gun there, slowly changing barrels to a more tactical choice. Schwi watched blankly as he emptied his gun and put in small containers of a red powder, detailed symbols covering the surface of each ‘bullet’. 13 began to speak softly but it quickly grew into a shout;
“Logic doesn’t help when you’re fighting gods, logic doesn’t help when fighting the an army with all the knowledge of mankind and logic certainly didn’t fething help when I was fighting against sentient mushrooms that created two gods with their mind! For all I know you’re as mad as half the world here and want to die but don’t have the bravery to say it. The reason I don’t exactly enjoy the company of machines is because last time sentient machines were used it nearly destroyed all of humanity.”
“But you are a model of a robot, an unknown one as I mentioned.”
13 pulled back his own hood to reveal his face; a criss cross of metal and flesh and two eyes with eyelids staring at Schwi with a burning hatred.
“I, am, a, human. A heavily modified one but still I still have ownership of my soul and-.”
13 cut himself off to regain control over his emotions and when he continued speaking it was in a clearly more robotic voice.
“Well you made me angry, that will hopefully not happen again. Now, tell me your purpose, how you got your heart and why you think that I don’t know about robots knowing how to manipulate.”
“To answer your second question first, because why would I try to anger you further with trickery?”
13 thought for a second and couldn’t find an obvious flaw in Schwi’s logic. He would continue running different scenarios through his head but he needed to fill in the time and wanted to know more about Schwi’s past, even if it wouldn’t help him in the foreseeable future. He gestured at Schwi to continue and reminded her;
“Remember to stay on topic this time.”
