Representing Unspent OM In Character?

Basically what I'd like to know is: can I write Hijiri as being extremely rich, or will I be penalised or forced to edit my posts if I do?

My reasoning is that a Base costs 1k OM, and I currently have 8k unspent. If we assume that a Base is the same price as a normal house (even though many are considerably larger than that) then that'd mean they should probably cost at least £/$/€100k ... which means Hijiri isn't far off being a millionaire.

Also, we're allowed to summon Secondaries and vehicles for free, so presumably all Primes are allowed to be represented as having a fair bit of wealth IC.

On the other hand... a normal gun costs 300 OM, which kinda screws over my theory, since guns obviously don't cost £3k each...

So... can I do this?
It'll not give him any OOC benefits, but it will let me justify IC buying a sweet Base when I eventually get around to it, as well as a whole bunch of Forces when they're released...
