Gilgamesh looked at the bed as his pet had walked over to clean herself. She glanced at her pale hands, completely stained by the blood she was enthralled with. She was walking over to the restroom glancing at her filthy hands in some sort of sorrow. She looked at her hands as if she was departing with a lost friend and once again pressed the flakey, dried up blood against her face to feel the brief sensation of killing the beloved 'Kevin'. She smiled a forlorn smile and she disappeared with the sound of a door shutting behind her.
The sound of flowing water came from the room as Gilgamesh inspected the red sheets that had decorated the bed. Gilgamesh walked over looking at the bed, which looked more like a horrible framing of wood covered with a cheap mattress and some blankets they had lying around the house. He looked at the pathetic excuse for a bed with disgust and he reached to touch the bed as if he was testing the waters. His face made a grimace as he touched the red wool that decorated the bed and it's tackiness against the wooden walls. The fabric was not as bad as he thought, it was slightly softer than he though and he felt the bed sheet underneath. He wasn't sure if he was just too tired to notice that the fabric was not of his caliber or that this motel had actually decent quality of materials. He felt the material underneath it and it felt completely gorgeous to what he had the other night. This motel reminded him of home, well a crappier version of home. Gilgamesh crawled into the bed and his lights went out. The last thing he heard was the faucet that his pet was washing herself with…
Gilgamesh awoke to the bright sun gleaming through the window and the breeze tickling his nose. He woke up and got up from the bed lazily, the bright, burning sun blinding his eyes and heating him up. He got out the bed and let out a yawn, this thing was more comfortable than he had expected. His clothes were full of wrinkles and he lazily tried to brush out the wrinkles in his clothing. The night had released a lot of stress from Gilgamesh and he felt that the tension of the past few days wipe through his system. He saw Docy sprawled out on the floor, obviously more tense than himself and he almost felt bad that she laid on the floor instead of him. Almost. He looked back to his comfortable bed and wondered why this place was so completely isolated. He bent over to the curled up monster and he saw her long silky hair, a mess on the floor. He tapped her shoulder and she waved her hand, he tapped her again and she turned to see him. Her horns scratching the floor and her eyes filled to the brim with the sleep sand that still lingered on Gilgamesh's eyelids.
"Wake up. We should be…"That very moment he realized why this Hotel was isolated. His pet seemed unaffected because the bed's were…they were infested with lice. His entire body grew aflame in itches and he started to scratch a little here and a little there, his entire body ablaze and he frantically tried to put out the flames.
"Is there something wrong King Gilgamesh?" Her voice seemed concerned and she had no idea what he was doing and she acted like he was being possessed or worse. Her eyes were following his hands and she outreached her hands in an attempt to help him solve his problem. Her hands were trying to decide whether to touch him or not, leaning towards the first. She eventually started to rub his leg and a sense of relief washed over Gilgamesh and he breathed a sigh of relief. A giggle was let out of Eudocia's mouth and Gilgamesh realized what he had let her do. He glared at her and slapped her hand away from him and gave her a stern no, which in turn received a strong pout. The flaming itches returned and her offer looked tantalizing and he eventually let her satisfy her cravings.
Gilgamesh and his pet escaped to the outside through the window and they were met with a busy town, full of people. Some people avoided the two and soon the bustling streets were retreating to the inside of their 'safe' homes. Gilgamesh gave the buildings glares that could kill has he continued to walk down the street, with his pet on her 'leash'. His crimson eyes burned aflame, matching his skins reaction underneath his Golden Armor. The passion in his eyes was tangible while Eudocia seemed to be minding her own business tagging along and listening to Gilgamesh's orders.
A literal tumbleweed passed along their path and they both stopped to let it pass. A woman from a neighboring house appeared out with two small children. It was obvious that she had low, income. She was dressed in rags, her children looked famished and sick and they all looked to be unbathed and on the brink of death. She walked up to Gilgamesh and took a knee not really giving much mind to his lion. She still held the kids by their hands and dragged them down to their knees as well. They seemed to be at maximum six and had no idea what their mother was doing, and how right she was to do what she was about to do.
"Gilgamesh…King Gilgamesh. I wish to be saved from your wrath and that you protect me and my children from the fiends that lay across this land." her head peered up and Gilgamesh looked down on her. He nodded his head and crossed his hands across his chest.
"Very well. You and your children shall be under my protection." Gilgamesh said, the passion in his eye wavering and a bit of satisfaction was traced through his voice. A small grin began to form on his face and he extended his hand.
She got up and she began to back away, always facing Gilgamesh, not wishing to displease him.
"Wait one moment. As a token of my good will, and what my reign would be underneath my kingdom." He commanded and she approached to him once more. Her kids hid behind her and his outstretched hand began to flow with the rainbow orb. The children broke out of their hiding and looked at it with amazement and after a couple of minutes a silver platter of Babylonian delicacies formed on his hand. The mother's eyes grew as he offered this platter of food. She felt ecstatic that she could feed her children.
"How can i ever thank you?" She replied.
"There is no need. All life will be like that…Underneath my rule."
