Avatar Help

I've been trying to get this gif to work as my avatar for the last 30 minutes and I just can't seem to make it work, so I come to you guys for help. I've tried cropping off the edges, but even that didn't work.

Is the gif in question. Avatars need to be 300 x 300 with a file size no greater than 150 kb.
