First priority was long range communications. If Schwi could communicate with a cluster and re-establish her link to other Ex Machina her efficiency in evaluating this situation would drastically increase. A few minutes passed, conclusion her overall processing capabilities were reduced significantly, and diagnostics reported that communications were non-functional from unknown errors. Further checks could not indicate the nature of this error. It booted but otherwise did not respond to commands nor did it relay any data it may be acquiring. So Schwi was on her own for all of this. In a few ways, she was glad not to re-establish her link to the collective minds of the other Ex Machina. A mix of embarrassment at having laid bare her feelings to the others... sadness and nother complex emotions welled at the thought.
Next priority was to evaluate combat systems. Her defensive capabilities, offensive capabilities, move speed, sensors, and just about everything showed a larger than 99% decrease in total output. However most of these systems were in working order. The lack of capability despite running to standard specifications didn't make sense. There were other irregularities as well. Her weapon memory was empty and the function changed to an unstable volatile memory core. It would be unable to hold weapons for longer than maybe 2 hours. On the other hand, maximum offensive output relative to her original model was drastically improved. Taking into account her overall reduction, her power was that of a standard combat unit. She did not feel safe with all of this. As weak as this, even a human might kill her and she didn't even have basic weapons to retaliate with. All she had left were the memories and skills of her life and the lessons Riku taught her for how to anticipate an opponent. Processors started softly churning out calculations of how to best fight in unarmed combat based on memories of Warbeast movements. Warbeasts had no magic but relied on extreme physical prowess and were the only race known for their skill in unarmed combat. Demonia enjoyed that sort of that combat but their skill was lower.
