It would be more of the character having the consciousnesses of several different individuals from various comics/movies/animes/what have you inside of his head, or rather, copies of their minds inside his head. See, here's an example. The character will sorta be an OC, but he'll have the minds/memories/personalities of a lot of canons from DC (And many other things) inside of his head, and they'll constantly be at war within his brain. Wanted to make sure the idea was okay, before I did it next month, as I'm trying to avoid any and all Lorebreaking, or anything like that. In short, the individual himself will be an OC, but he'll have the memories/personalities of many canons inside his head, fighting it out for control of him. .
Tl;DR: The character's sorta got digital copies of a lot of canon characters inside his head, but is an OC. They will be fighting for control of his body, and causing him no small amount of irritation. The character will, as a result of this, be able to learn how to use their moves/equipment though.
