Makes me glad I decided not to play a regenerating character. That's harsh. -_-
On a side-note, though; nowhere in the description of Shapeshifting does it say it is limited to making small changes to existing limbs, which means it should definitely be possible to grow additional arms, and/or absorb damaged ones into the body... and if an entire limb can be replaced with a fully functional copy, there should be no reason why only the injured part could not be moved/absorbed in the same manner.
