Green Lanterns had the Power Rings they could rely on. The rings channeled the emotion of will, and were one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in his universe. Sure Matthew had never met a Green Lantern before in his life, but he knew the rings were capable of a lot. The videos he had watched had showed the ones who were heroes and used that technology being capable of quite a lot of stuff. While he couldn't exactly remember everything they had done, Matthew knew he was jealous of the advantages they had. Here in the Omniverse such a piece of technology probably was not likely to function like it should, yet he knew he wanted such equipment for his own personal use. There were other tools that could also be of use to him, should he somehow remember how they worked and learn how to create them with the mysterious substance. One of these was the Batarangs that Batman wielded. While he didn't know what all they did, Matthew assumed there were a lot of ones with various capabilities that could be used. All in all, having some of those in his bag of tricks was not a half bad idea.
