As the T-rexes showed up, she desperately wanted to yell out “How do you intend to catch us with those? They’re built to eat things, not subdue them!” But she didn’t want to draw attention, so she kept her snark to herself. While she had a ranged weapon thanks to a random on-a-whim summon she discreetly did earlier around the fire, she didn’t want to chance her newest weapon failing on her. So she used the cover of the scuffle to slink off into hiding.

Ninja #1 (and he literally had a #1 sewn into his shirt,) was hiding in a nearby bush. His orders were only to move in if they try to escape, so he waited and watched as the chaos ensues. However, he felt himself get grabbed by the foot and dragged across the ground. He darts his head upward to see Guu, pulling him along by the ankle. He reaches for his distress whistle, but, without even looking, her arm flies backwards into his face, knocking him senseless.
She stops suddenly and starts spinning in place. After a while, she’s spinning so fast that the ninja was now floating in he grasp from sheer force.
“So long, lame ninja.” She said dully as she let go, launching him off into the horizon.
Guu took a few seconds to get her head straight before slinking off into the shadows again.

Ninja #2 could have sworn he heard something and he moved to climb down the tree he was hiding in. However, something suddenly hit his foot. He felt himself falling, and as he looked down, he saw Guu standing there, her mouth inhumanly wide open.
The ninja fell into her mouth, and got lodged in her throat. She tried desperately to swallow him, but he just wouldn’t go down. Just as she felt her lungs tinged with pain from the lack of oxygen, she spit him out.
As the ninja ran away in complete terror, Guu stuck her hand down her mouth. Everything seemed fine with her stomach, so it must be something wrong with her throat. However, she didn’t have time right now to really concern herself with it, so she slinked off once more.

Ninja #3 was surfing his Dataverse Device, not even paying attention to what was going on. He was just surfing through twitter when he looked up to see Guu’s face glaring at him. However, the ninja’s face was scrunched in thought, leading to her confusion. Then suddenly, the man had a look of realization.
“OMG, you’re Guu!” He exclaimed excitedly. “I didn’t recognize you from so far! You see, I read your blog! I’m like one of your biggest fans!”
Guu, amused, looked away shy.
“Oh, I’m not that great.” She lied.
“Could you sign my Dataverse Device?” He exclaimed.
He pulls out a sharpie marker. Guu took it and the device, writing out her incredibly short name.
“Just one name?” He asked.
She thought about it for a moment.
“Guu don’t need no stickin’ last name.” She exclaimed.

A few minutes later, the two were sitting back-to-back, faces deep in their dataverse devices.
“So how are you going to respond to that Doomguy guy?” he asked.
“Eh, just stand my ground.” She says plainly. “Maybe troll him a bit.”
“While I don’t fully agree with your opinion, I do like that you’re at least being sensible.” He said.
A moment of silence befell the two. Then Guu had a thought.
“Oh yeah, I forgot you were working for the bad guy, Chuck.” She said.
“Eh, I don’t care anymore. He promised cybernetic upgrades, but that doesn’t sound as cool anymore. I’m fine as long as I have the Dataverse.” He said. “What about your friends? Don’t they need your help?”
“I’m sure they could handle it. I’m more the utility of the group than an actual fighter.” She said, burying her face in the device once more.
The two stayed there for the rest of the battle; a kinship in nerdery.
