Dane Regan vs 13-Jzall OOC
#1
Since 13 is heading into the Tangled Green just as Dane is about to leave, we've agreed to cut the fuss and essentially start off with a confrontation/unplanned ambush (Dane is stealthed), which 13 may choose to run from.

If 13 doesn't run/escape, I propose the standard fight rules (but with extra time to post):

Word Limit: 800
Posts Per Player: 3
Time Limit: 5 days (120 hours)
Random Elements: On
Damage Meter: On

So, I'll throw out an ambush style intro post, then 13 can either run or do his intro. If he doesn't run, the fight starts as usual. If he does, then Dane will pursue and we'll need someone to make a ruling. If he escapes, he escaped. If he doesn't, the fight starts.

New Fight Order/Rules (for round 2 and after):

Word Limit: 800
Posts Per Player: 3 (or 2, if they missed round 1)
Time Limit: 1 week*
Random Elements: On
Damage Meter: On

*Round 2 starts this Sunday at 11:59pm EST, and finishes the following Sunday at 11:59pm EST. Round 3 lasts for the following week (unless someone needs an extension and asks for it). Essentially, the suggested rules for large fights, but with longer round timers:

Quote:In group fights, an entire round lasts 72 hours by default, and players must 'call' the right to post next by posting in the corresponding OOC topic. If a player is next in line but has not posted within 2 hours, the right passes to the next player to 'call' their post. If you are taking longer than expected to post, you should let the other players know, or pass on your right to post. Once every player has posted or 72 hours (or the decided time limit) passes, the round will end and the next round will begin. The time limit for group fights should be based on the number of participants, and usually a judge will work out a time limit that works for everyone. By default, or if an agreement cannot be made, we add 12 hours to the default time limit for each participant past 3.

If you haven't posted within 2 hours of calling it, but you're "almost" done, just say so. And if you don't think you'll be able to finish in 2 hours, give a rough estimate of a finish time. We've got a week per round - that's more days than people, and it can be extended as needed. Working like this instead of with a post order can probably help fit everyone's schedules.
