Bill looked at the spider. Then looked at Bob. Then back to spider. Then back at Bob. “Umm… Bob… I know you're the more experienced one but… Are you sure that the little guy is, you know… intelligent enough?”
“Of course it is!” Bill responded enthusiastically, a grin forming on his face. “These guys are crafty little buggers, isn’t that right spider?”
The spider shot a glance at the person that just asked them a question, replying but spitting a web that would have hit Bob’s face if he hadn’t dodged. Before the big man could make good on his threat however, the spider had already journeyed into the innards of the truck, leaving behind only a web on Bob’s window that showed a tick.
“I guess I underestimated them” Bill said, his eyes wide as he stared at the web.
Inside the innards of the truck, the spider thought about the fact that it didn’t have a name, the reason it didn’t have a name was cause it’s parents died before they could give it one, and the parents died because Bob had killed them.
Right turn.
The spider obviously didn’t know that Bob killed their parents, otherwise they wouldn’t have accepted them and their partner as surrogate parents so easily.
Left turn.
Well, they probably still would’ve accepted Bill as their surrogate mother, he did feed them after all.
Another left.
But Bob, well they would’ve made sure that shot didn’t miss.
Go up here and turn back.
But that’s all ifs, right now all they are worried about is their name.
Continue forward.
It could either make it’s own up or ask it’s new ‘parents’ to give them one.
Drop down and turn left.
The spider got distracted from his own thoughts when he saw what he was meant to be looking for, the broken circuit board. Chirping happily he moved towards it and waited for Bob’s instructions.
