The paladin nodded his head in admiration. He respected the two soldiers for their devotion to the city but he felt something was off about the two soldiers. He felt that they had something to hide and he made a mental note that he needed to be wary of them. While they had proven themselves to the garrison, they may have some anterior motives.
Atelos took note of the rest of the group and the diversity the party had to offer. There was a man in purple robes, laced with golden on the edges. He was holding a book and he seemed to be trying to memorize a chant and a blue circle began to wisp in front of him. It disappeared and he looked over at the Spartan and a brief smile appeared before he went back to his study.
There was a man in white robes decorated in red crosses and he was holding a cross. He was kneeling and a certain light seemed to be glowing around him. He was also muttering some sort of chant but his voice seemed to trail off and carried without much effort. The man was slightly older than the rest of the group, his wrinkles were more developed and he seemed wiser. His eyes were closed and Atelos knew his mind was off somewhere else, in a different plane maybe…There was more but his mind was forced out by the demanding attention brought to a certain feeling…or the loss of a certain feeling.
Atelos had lost feeling in his arm, not as if it were numb or asleep but he felt as if it was no longer there. Or maybe that it wasn't under his control anymore. His arm began to raise without his control and he had to force it down with the other hand.
You fool! I have been saving up my power for this and I will take control! This 'Silent Hill' is feeding me power! Your mind will not stand a chance!
"Over my dead body…Atelos muttered and Shang turned his head towards the Spartan in curiosity. The rest of the party however did not. Shang gave Atelos a looking over, but did not pay attention for long.
"Let's go team!"
