Thanks for your suggestions. I'll write something up for his physical description. It's good that I can get the katana so cheap and I'll think about if (and how) I want to change VWS.

I think I might not have been clear enough in my description of Stepping Stones, though, because it's not just just about running; he can also stand still whilst balanced on a very small object, on the surface of water. It does actually do something more than what Super Jumping (or Master Acrobat) would normally allow. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
